Who We Are
The humans (and one battle unicorn, and one alien) behind Light Design LV.
Officially, Light Design LV is a Las Vegas shop covering laser engraving, 3D printing, and precious metals, run by Jon Hofer, co-owner of our wholesale partner High Desert Mint.
Unofficially, we're the shop currently housing an armor-plated battle unicorn and the small orange alien who escaped Area 51 right alongside him. Rusty and Frank showed up together, and the business grew around them.
No stock photos, no misleading descriptions, no filler copy from a probe-happy marketing department. Just honest products, backed by real service, from a shop that happens to have a battle unicorn and an alien as its unofficial mascots and full-time hype crew.
We've grown through our online store, live Whatnot shows, and the occasional escaped-experiment origin story, and we're still not the biggest shop out there. That's on purpose: staying small means we pay attention to every order, every engraving, every print, and every customer the big sites skip past.
