What Happens During a Live Whatnot Show

If you’ve never watched a live shopping drop before, here’s what to expect when you tune in.

Drops happen live on the Whatnot app. Search “Light Design LV” to find our shop and follow us so you get notified when a show starts. Once you’re in, you’ll see items go up one at a time as an auction — you place a bid, watch the timer, and if you’re still the highest bidder when it ends, it’s yours.

A few tips for your first show: turn on notifications so you don’t miss the start, watch the chat for details on each item like weight and purity, and don’t be afraid to ask questions live — we answer them on air. Shipping is combined for everything you win in one show, so it’s easy to grab a few pieces without paying for shipping multiple times.
